A VOCS ABATEMENT SYSTEM FOR SPRAY BOOTH AND A REGENERATING SYSTEM OF ACTIVATED-CARBON FILTER USING SUPER-HEATED STEAM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for absorbing and desorbing VOCs for spray booth and a method for regenerating activated carbon filter using supersaturated vapor are provided which completely regenerate the activated carbon filter by substantially improving desorption performance of the filter, and completely remove VOCs collected in the filter. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for absorbing and desorbing VOCs for spray booth(100) comprises an exhaust inlet damper(310) for controlling the amount of the primarily filtered polluted gas that is flown into an exhaust box(360) after polluted gas generated from operation in the spray booth is primarily filtered in a bottom filter; a granular activated carbon filter(320) for adsorbing VOCs of exhaust gas flown in from the exhaust inlet damper; an exhaust releasing damper(340) for guiding the exhaust gas filtered in the activated carbon filter to the atmosphere; a supersaturated vapor generator(410) for generating supersaturated vapor during cessation of the spray booth; a supersaturated vapor releasing unit(330) which is equipped with a plurality of injection nozzles for uniformly injecting the supersaturated vapor onto all over the surface of the activated carbon filter so that the VOCs collected into the activated carbon filter are desorbed by supersaturated vapor produced from the supersaturated vapor generator; and a VOC discharge port(350) for guiding the VOCs desorbed by releasing of the supersaturated vapor to a VOC treatment equipment(700) so that the VOCs are removed in the VOC treatment equipment.
