PURPOSE: A power amplifier having a base/gate voltage variation type impedance correction circuit, a mobile communication terminal using the same, and a method for improving efficiency of the same are provided to vary a base/gate voltage according to an RF signal level and improve efficiency the power amplifier by using an MEMS(Micro Electro Mechanical System) switch type variable impedance. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of base/gate direct current bias voltage supply portions(24-26,26') apply dynamic direct current bias voltage to an active element(23) according to a varied RF input signal. An input and an output switching control signal generation portion(27,27') are connected with the base/gate direct current bias voltage supply portions(24-26,26') to generate control signals(a1.a2 or a1',a2') to any one of an input and an output impedance correction circuit. An input and an output impedance matching portion(28,29,Z1,Z2,or 28',29',Z1',Z2') perform impedance matching operations by receiving a control signal from any one of the input and the output switching control signal generation portions(27,27') and varying an impedance.
