PURPOSE: A lower end discharge type water gate of an underwater reservoir which serve as a fish way is provided to enable to automatically open and close the water gate by using a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure, and to prevent the leakage of water by completely compressing the water gate. CONSTITUTION: The lower end discharge type water gate(1) of an underwater reservoir which serve as a fish way comprises two pairs of cylinders(7) to be coupled with two pairs of cylinder brackets(990) provided the upper both ends of a dam body(9); and a pressure member(4) coupled to a fixing bracket(6) of the dam body through a hinge(5), and the upper end of the pressure member and the cylinder are coupled with a hinge(3) to press or release the upper end of the water gate.
