PURPOSE: An apparatus and method is provided to minimize errors caused due to the vibration of human body during measurement by installing a three-point support load cell, while achieving improved use conveniences. CONSTITUTION: An underwater weight measurement device comprises a heater(6), load cells(2,3,4) and a load cell indicator(9). The load cells are installed to form a triangle shape such that the vibration of human body is reduced during underwater weight measurement, and load of each cell is maintained at a constant value. The load cells are installed at three points connecting the chair supporting human body and a water reservoir(1), and the weight of human body is measured simultaneously at three points. Changes of weight caused due to the vibration are compensated with each other, to thereby obtain an accurate value.
