摘要

PURPOSE: A supporting metallocene catalyst and an olefin polymerization method using the catalyst are provided, to allow the one part of the ligand of a metallocene compound to be adhered to the silica surface by strong chemical bonding, thereby preventing the catalyst from being separated from the surface in activation and to improve the particle shape and appearance density of the polymer prepared by using the catalyst. CONSTITUTION: The supporting metallocene catalyst is obtained by contacting at least one kind of metallocene compound represented by the formula 1 or 2(wherein the formula 1 is (C5R1m)pBs(C5R1m)MQ3-p) which is substituted with an organic radical and whose at least one hydrogen radical present in R1, R2 and B is selected from the radicals represented by the formula 3, 4 and 5, and a carrier in the presence of an organic solvent, to break at least one among the C-O bond, the C-S bond and the Si-O bond present in the radical represented by the formula 3, 4 or 5, thereby allowing the metallocene compound to form a new bond with the carrier and the metallocene compound to be supported into the carrier.
