System and method for watching and reservation for Internet TV program

PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing Internet TV watching and reservation services through wired/wireless Internet are provided to offer a user services with respect to real-time watching, reservation watching and recording reservation of an Internet TV broadcasting program the user wants to view. CONSTITUTION: A system for providing Internet TV watching and reservation services through wired/wireless Internet includes a web server(1), an encoding server(3), a database server(4), and a plurality of user wired/wireless terminals(7,8). Users are connected with the web server through the wired/wireless Internet to sign in. The web server provides broadcasting program guide information service and offers the users Internet TV broadcasting program real-time watching and reservation services. The encoding server encodes an Internet TV broadcasting program to convert it into a meta file when a user requests reservation of the program. The database server stores information about the users, Internet TV broadcasting program schedule information, contents information provided by the web server and the meta file. The user terminals are provided with the Internet TV broadcasting program watching and reservation services.
