PURPOSE: Provided is a supplementary agent for the prevention and treatment of adult diseases. It is characterized by using a mixture of a fungal fermentate lowering cholesterol and pharmaceutical mushrooms. CONSTITUTION: The supplementary agent for the prevention and treatment of adult diseases contains fungal fermentates of at least one of Monascus sp., Aspergillus sp. and Penicillium sp., lowering cholesterol and pharmaceutical mushrooms having anticancer activity, blood sugar level controlling activity, blood pressure controlling activity and immune activating activity, particularly consisting of Acanthopanax senticosus, Panax ginseng and mushrooms.
