PURPOSE: A sample holder, auxiliary apparatus for sample holder and sample holding method using the same is provided to prevent breakage of the sample by fixing the sample through the use of an elastic member, while reducing work procedures. CONSTITUTION: A sample holder(300) comprises a holder body which is elongated in a lengthwise direction and constituted by a first holder body(302) and a second holder body(304), wherein the holder body has a front end with a sample fixing portion; a space(312) having an open upper side, which is extended in a lengthwise direction of the holder body in such a manner that the space allows the sample fixing portion of the holder body to insert the sample into the space; and an elastic support member(320) for compressing and fixing the sample within the space, while contacting the sample mounted in the space. The holder body is formed into a cylindrical rod, and the sample fixing portion formed at the front end of the holder body has a flat horizontal plane which is formed by partially removing the cylindrical rod.
