PURPOSE: The method for producing carpophore and haploid mycelium of cordyceps militaris in a short period of time is provided. For the purpose, they are cultured in the mixed medium composed of animal medium such as silkworm pupa, silkworm and white grub, with mandarin orange. CONSTITUTION: The culturing medium comprises; more than one of the animal culturing medium selected from silkworm pupa, silkworm and white grub and 10-40wt.%(based on the whole medium) of the mandarin oranges, 10-40wt.% of cereals selected from the group of husked rice, barley, bean, corn, peanut, millet, kaoliang and red-bean and 10- 40wt.% of herbal plants and fragrant plants.
