PURPOSE: A rubble mound breakwater for inflow of seawater is provided to dilute contamination of water in inner harbor by actively leading the seawater outside the harbor into the inner harbor. CONSTITUTION: The breakwater comprises in general a mound(1), a cover layer(2) made of stone material on front/rear sides of the mound(1), and a concrete block structure(3) and further, a super structure(10) on top side of the mound(1). The super structure(10) has a wave chamber(11) closed to a front side wall facing outer seawater(O) and formed in upper/lower directions and, the wave chamber(11) has an opening opened to the top side of the structure(10). Inflow ports(11a) for communicating the water chamber and the outer harbor are located at the front side wall. The breakwater further includes a plurality of water passages(12) to communicate the water chamber(11) and the inner harbor.
