Internet Phone and Fax System billing to the private Phone Number and Internet Phone and Fax Service method using the System

PURPOSE: An Internet phone/facsimile system for performing billing to a personal telephone number and a service method therefor are provided to use an Internet phone/facsimile always using a public telephone or a mobile phone without installing a special telephone. CONSTITUTION: A memory(32) stores an Internet phone/facsimile program. A DB unit(33) has a voice call/facsimile CDR storing unit(331) for storing a voice telephone call/facsimile CDR including a member serial number and a voice telephone call/history use history, and a caller authentication information storing unit(332) for storing caller authentication information. A CPU(31) operates the Internet phone/facsimile program stored in the memory(32), performs an authentication procedure using authentication information stored in the caller authentication information storing unit(332) when a voice telephone call/facsimile call is requested from a transmitter using a personal telephone number, calculates a charge using information stored in the voice call/facsimile CDR storing unit(331), and performs a billing to the personal telephone number. A network unit(36) connects the Internet(9) to an origination server(3). A transmitter connection unit(37) directly receives the call request from an origination switch(2).
