SOIL CHARACTERISTICS SURVEY DEVICE AND SOIL CHARACTERISTICS SURVEY METHOD

PURPOSE: Provided is an observation apparatus for soil characteristics which is capable of efficiently obtaining data of high accuracy related to the distribution of soil characteristics in a field to collectively control the same. CONSTITUTION: An observation apparatus for soil characteristics is equipped with a pedestal connected to the rear part of a tractor, a control part (computer) placed on the pedestal and a soil cutting part attached to the lower part of the rear end of the pedestal and drawn by a vehicle such as the tractor or the like to observe the distribution of soil characteristics in the field in a real time. A GPS antenna is attached to the head of the control part. A soil cutting part is equipped with a shank supported on and connected to the lower part of the pedestal and a sensing part fixed to the lower part of the shank and almost advancing through soil at a predetermined depth. The control part forms a group of data corresponding to the same soil sample with respect to the soil characteristics to be detected or the detection signals of various sensors or the like different in arrangement.
