摘要
PURPOSE: A ring back tone service method based on subscribers upon origination to a terminating non-subscriber is provided to let an originating subscriber hear a specific sound for a ring back tone, when the subscriber originates a call to the non-subscriber. CONSTITUTION: When an originator requests call connection, an O_MSC(Originating Mobile Switching Center)(31) requests termination location information to an HLR(Home Location Register)(10)(S601). The HLR(10) requests routing information to a T_MSC(Terminating MSC)(32)(S602), and the T_MSC(32) provides the routing information to the HLR(10) for responding(S603). The HLR(10) checks whether the originator and a terminator are subscribed in a service(S604). If both are not subscribed, the HLR(10) delivers to the O_MSC(31) the response message to the request for termination location information by including only TLDN(Temporary Local Directory Number) information(S605-1). If only the originator is subscribed in a service, the HLR(10) delivers to the O_MSC(31) service setup information to be included in the response message(S605-2). The O_MSC(31) requests ISUP(ISDN(Integrated Service Digital Network) User Part) call connection to the T_MSC(32) based on the response message(S606), or at the same time selectively requests the ISUP call connection to an IP(Intelligent Peripheral)(50) to form a speech path(S607). The IP(50) requests a sound source code to an IP server(70)(S608). The IP server(70) provides the searched sound source code to the IP(50) for responding(S609). The IP(50) transmits the provided sound source code as a ring back tone to the originator through the formed speech path(S610). When the terminator receives a call, the O_MSC(31) requests ISUP call disconnection to the IP(50)(S611), and speech is performed through the speech path(S612).
