Water quality clarification method in the harbor

PURPOSE: A method for improving harbor water quality is provided to naturally purify harbor water by constructing a breakwater that communicates with the open sea. CONSTITUTION: The method for improving harbor water quality is characterized in that harbor water is naturally purified by constructing a breakwater(1) on which seawater exchange passageways(30) are penetratingly formed between the open sea retarding basin(10) in front of the harbor and an inner harbor retarding basin(20) filled with gravels(24) when forming the harbor so that seawater of the open sea is reciprocally smoothly exchanged with seawater trapped in the harbor through the seawater exchange passageways(30).
