PURPOSE: A system for instantly displaying the streaming media data and a method and a device for synchronizing a data position with a broadcasting wave are provided to make a user decide the listening by enabling the user to listen to an audio file for a constant time and to previously view a few frame data. CONSTITUTION: The system makes the user listen to a streaming media file through a driving program by downloading the streaming media file between a host computer and a remote computer. At a network environment slower than the minimum speed needed to drive the driving program, the streaming media file is buffered after downloading the streaming media file for the constant time. A part of the data from the streaming media file downloaded from the remote computer is driven during a period for buffering the data.
