TAPE SCANNING APPARATUS MOTOR SUBSTRATE AND CAPSTAN MOTOR

PURPOSE: A tape running device is provided to form an electrical connection between a circuit board, a capstan motor, a drum motor, and a loading motor in a low-priced and in a small-sized. CONSTITUTION: A motor board(44) of a capstan motor(4), which is made of a metallic material offering good heat dissipation, is provided in a tape running device(1) in such a way as to face a circuit board(5) thereof. A motor drive IC(43), into which drive circuits for driving and controlling the capstan motor, a drum motor(2), and a loading motor(3) is incorporated, is mounted on the motor board. The circuit board and the motor board are connected to each other by an inter-board connector(7). Further, an electrical connection between the circuit board and each of the motors is established through the motor board.
