METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTING TIME DIFFERENCE OF CELLULAR PHONE INTERNATIONAL ROAMING

PURPOSE: A method for automatically adjusting the time different of international roaming in a cellular phone is provided to automatically convert an international roaming time into a local time when connecting to a base station in a different time zone. CONSTITUTION: A CPU of a cellular phone decides whether an automatic time different adjusting mode is operated(101). If the automatic time different adjusting mode is operated, the CPU searches an adjacent base station and connects to the adjacent base station whenever the adjacent base station is searched(102). The CPU decides whether a telephone system associated with the cellular phone is identical to a telephone system associated with the base station connected to the cellular phone(103). If the cellular phone is not identical to the telephone system associated with the base station connected to the cellular phone, the telephone system associated with the cellular phone accesses a database of a memory of the cellular phone, checks a time conversion table, retrieves a corresponding local time of the base station connected to the cellular phone, and displays the retrieved local time on an LCD of the cellular phone(104).
