摘要

PURPOSE: A metal glaze coating method and a ceramic rod manufactured by the same are provided to achieve improved quality of the metal glaze and surge resistor by simplifying the coating process and minimizing a defective ratio. CONSTITUTION: A metal glaze coating method comprises a first step of attaching a ceramic rod(10) to a ceramic substrate(20) and pre-heating the resultant structure at the temperature of 150 to 300 Deg.C in a drying furnace(50); a second step of transferring the pre-heated ceramic rod and dipping the ceramic rod into a paste(15) contained in a paint tank(30), in such a manner that the ceramic substrate does not contact the paste and the ceramic rod has an exposed portion; a third step of removing the condensed paste from the lower end of the ceramic rod by permitting the condensed paste to contact the ceramic substrate; and a fourth step of drying the paste condensed at the outer surface of the ceramic rod by the residual heat of the ceramic rod and baking the ceramic rod.
