PURPOSE: A self-diagnosis type welding carriage controller capable of automatic controlling of welding conditions and realization of weaving motion per angles is provided to control a plurality of welding carriage control boards as a whole and have program and diagnostic function suitable to each characteristics. CONSTITUTION: The self-diagnosis type welding carriage controller capable of automatic controlling of welding conditions and realization of weaving motion per angles comprises a main controller for data base(1), a remote operating panel controller(2), a welding machine control and welding condition controller(3), motion controllers for oscillation and traveling motion(4,5), a DSP (digital signal processor) controller(6) for memory operation per each controllers in which each CPU (central processing units)(7) are installed in the DSP (digital signal processor) controller(6), wherein dual port rams(8) are mounted on the controllers(1 to 6) to hold memory in common with surrounding CPU boards(7) so that the controllers(1 to 6) are electrically wired with a VME bus(9).
