PURPOSE: A method for preparing soluble microemulsion polymer of poly(aniline-co-anthranilic acid) using aniline and anthranilic acid monomers, microemulsion polymer of poly(aniline-co-anthranilic acid) prepared by the method, and steel or metal products prepared by using the microemulsion polymer are provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing soluble microemulsion polymer of poly(aniline-co-anthranilic acid) comprises the steps of dissolving 1 to 10 wt.% of the mixture into an organic solvent at a temperature of -10 to 80 deg.C after mixing anthranilic acid of the following chemical formula 1 with aniline in the mole weight percent range of 1:99 to 99:1; preparing the mixture into a microemulsion solution in which micelle is formed using surfactant; and gradually adding oxidizer to the mixture at a temperature of -10 to 50 deg.C and flow rate of 0.01 to 10 ml/min so that a mixture of anthranilic acid and aniline in the microemulsion solution is mixed with the oxidizer in a mole ratio of 1:5 to 5:1, wherein the oxidizer is selected from the group consisting of ammonium persulfate, FeCl3, CuCl2, Cu(BF4)2, Cu(ClO4)2 and K2Cr2O7, the surfactant is selected from the group consisting of dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid, campo sulfonic acid, sodium dodecylbenzene sulfate, sulfosalicylic acid, toluene sulfonic acid, benzene sulfonic acid, sulfamic acid, naphthalene sulfonic acid, dimethyl sulfate, diethyl sulfate, dipropyl sulfate, di(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate, 4-sulfophthalic acid, malonic acid and twin series, the anthranilic acid is mixed with aniline in a mole weight ratio of 10:90 to 80:20, and the organic solvent is selected from the group consisting of chloroform, methylene chloride, tetrahydrofuran, alcohol, xylene, N-methyl pyrrolidone and dimethyl sulfoxide.
