System and method for transmitting a multimedia data based on the internet network

PURPOSE: An M/D(Multimedia Data) transmission system based on an Internet network and an M/D transmission method using the same are provided to divide an M/D transmission process of an M/D transmission server in each M/D reception client through a predetermined independent transmission layer. CONSTITUTION: M/D transmission servers(301-304) have an MD transmission ability, respectively. A plurality of M/D reception clients(401-470) separately receive M/D transmitted from the M/D transmission servers(301-304) and execute the received M/D. Each of the M/D transmission servers(301-304) has an M/D transmission management tool(100) for collectively checking each response speed of the M/D reception clients(401-470), selecting specific M/D reception clients with the quickest response speed, and selectively transmitting the M/D to the selected specific M/D reception clients. Each of the M/D reception clients(401-470) has an M/D reception management tool(500) for checking response speeds of other M/D reception clients connected to a network according to the M/D transmission management tool(100) and reporting the corresponding response speed check result to the M/D transmission management tool(100). If the M/D are transmitted from the M/D transmission servers(301-304), the M/D reception management tool(500) divides the M/D and transmits the divided M/D to other M/D reception clients which belong in a lower layer to be suitable for independent transmission layer data set by the M/D transmission servers(301-304).
