PURPOSE: An osmotic pressure type electric belt press dehydrator equipped with anode electric drums is provided to develop the anode drums capable of efficiently impressing an electric field to sludge layer and derive the optimum time point for electric field impressing capable of maximizing dehydration efficiency and reducing operation cost. CONSTITUTION: In an electric belt press dehydrator(1) in which various industrial sludge (A) stored in a sludge supply tank(2) is supplied to a belt press(4) by a supply pump(3), the supplied sludge (A) is belt pressed in a space between drums(7) and a drum or porous plate(8) so that free water is primarily dehydrated as the sludge (A) is being moved along the belts(6,6') of the belt press(4) comprising a pair of upper and lower belts(6,6') driven by a driving motor(5), anode drums(9) are installed at the rear end part of the upper belt(6) while the cathode drum or porous plate(8) is installed on the lower belt(6') so that bound water contained in the sludge is dehydrated by forming an electric field in the anode drums(9) and the cathode drum or porous plate(8), and the dehydrated cake is recovered into a cake collecting tank(10), the osmotic pressure type electric belt press dehydrator equipped with anode electric drums is characterized in that a direct current supply unit is installed at a supporting shaft rod connected to a cover connected to both sides of the anode drums(9), the direct current supply unit is electrically connected to contact terminals that are arranged on the inner surface of the anode drums(9) with the contact terminals being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance so that a uniformed electric field is produced on the surface of the anode drums(9) by generating DC power supply from the direct current supply unit when the anode drums(9) are rotated, and the cathode drum or porous plate(8) is simply earthed onto the ground.
