PURPOSE: An apparatus for quickly precooling strawberries with sterilizing then using ozone gas is provided, thereby reducing the lowering of a commercial value and providing high quality of strawberries with high freshness. CONSTITUTION: The sterilization and precooling apparatus for strawberry comprises an ozone generating part for irradiating ozone and a differential pressure generating unit. The differential pressure generating unit comprises a through-hole surface(8) having a plurality of through-holes on one side thereof and contains a differential generating fan(9) for forcibly flowing air. The precooling apparatus contains a unit cooler(6) for precooling an airtight room for storing harvested strawberries.
