CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for an Internet protocol packet encryption by using a block encryption algorithm includes an input processing block(210) for receiving a packet transmitted from a transmission control protocol/Internet protocol(TCP/IP) protocol processing block(100) or a link protocol processing block(300), a packet buffer(230) for storing the packet received from the input processing block(210), a packet analyzing block(250) for determining the encryption by analyzing the packet stored the packet buffer(230) and for analyzing the size of the number of blocks and the garbage data in response to the block encryption algorithm, an encryption and modulation block(220) for encrypting and modulating the packet by using the block encryption algorithm based on the determined result of the packet analyzing block(250), a packet header calculation block(270) for correcting the packet header by calculating the length of the header and the length information of the overall packet in response to the encryption information stored at the header in accordance with the encryption and modulation of the packet, a packet correction block(260) for correcting and storing the size of the packet buffer(230) in accordance with the size of the packet encrypted and modulated at the encryption and modulation block(220) and an output processing block(240) for correcting CRC values of the encrypted and modulated packet and for transmitting the corrected data to the TCP/IP protocol processing block(100) or the link protocol processing block(300).
