PURPOSE: A sinusoidal decelerator is provided to improve the reduction ratio and reduce backlash by decreasing the distance between an input end and an output end with compact structure, and to transmit power efficiently by arranging an input shaft and an output shaft in the same axis. CONSTITUTION: A decelerator has a body(1) having an internal gear(1a); an input shaft(4) having an eccentric shaft(4a) inserted to the body; a rotary gear(6) having gear teeth(6a) less than internal gear teeth, a hole(6c) inserting the eccentric shaft and a slot(6b) transmitting rotational force, and rotating, revolving and shaking in rotating the input shaft; a coupler(7) combined with the slot to transmit rotational force decelerated by rotating the rotary gear and absorb shaking of the rotary gear bi-directionally; and an output shaft(5) combined with the coupler by sliding to receive decelerated rotational force. Backlash is restricted, and torque is transmitted efficiently at the high reduction ratio with compact structure.
