PURPOSE: An internet trade progress step indication method is provided to enable a trader to check a progress step in the Internet international trading of a specific commodity which needs long and complex steps. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A seller or a buyer transmits a sale offer or a buying offer to a server system over the network. The server system tags an ID on an offered commodity or an offer request, and stores the ID at a memory. The server system sends the offer to other side and intermediates a trade contract. The server system receives real trading progress data and its date from the seller or the buyer system, and stores them at a memory. The seller or the buyer refers a trading progress step to the server system by using the ID. The server system reads the requested trading progress step corresponding to the ID from the memory, and indicates the progress step and its date for the seller or the buyer.
