TEXTILE COMPOSITE COMPRISING A FLEXIBLE MOTHER-OF-PEARL LAYER AND METHOD OF THE PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a fabric complex containing a flexible mother-of-pearl layer which is characterized by maintaining flexibility and having an natural mother-of-pearl pattern and color. The fabric complex is useful for a bag, clothes, accessories and interior articles. A manufacturing method thereof is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The fabric complex comprises a fabric or a vinyl layer(A), a flexible mother-of-pearl layer(C) and an adhesive layer(B) between the fabric(A) and the mother-of-pearl layer(C). The manufacturing method of the fabric complex comprises the steps of: (1) cutting a shell lengthwise to get raw one, followed by grinding the raw shell; (2) setting the grinded mother-of-pearl; hardening both sides thereof with a stiffener; grinding both sides of the hardened mother-of-pearl to manufacture a mother-of-pearl plate; (3) bonding the mother-of-pearl plate on the fabric or the vinyl; and then pounding the mother-of-pearl plate on a rubber table with a cracker to form a crack on the mother-of-pearl.
