PURPOSE: A method for determining radiation sensitivity of animals by measuring activity of antioxidant enzymes in body fluids is provided, thereby predicting the radiation sensitivity of a patient required for radiation therapy prior to the radiation therapy, and preventing the adverse reaction caused thereby. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining radiation sensitivity of animals by measuring activity of antioxidant enzymes in body fluids comprises the steps of: collecting body fluids from an animal; measuring the activity of at least one enzyme selected from catalase, superoxide dismutase and glutathione S-transferase in the body fluids collected; and determining the radiation sensitivity of a tested animal as "radiation sensitive" when the level of the antioxidant enzyme activity is low, or as "radiation resistant" when the level of the antioxidant enzyme activity is high.
