Method Of Authenticating Subscriber In The Home RADIUS Server Of The Mobile Communication Packet Data Network

PURPOSE: A method for authenticating a subscriber in a home RADIUS server of a mobile communication packet data network is provided to change and then transmit subscriber's authority verification information to meet a request of each RADIUS client in a case that a home RADIUS server is interlinked with a different kind of a RADIUS client. CONSTITUTION: When a subscriber of a mobile terminal attempts a packet data service, a regional RADIUS(Remote Authentication Dial In User Service) server receives an access request message from a RADIUS client and discriminates whether the subscriber is a roaming subscriber(S2). The regional RADIUS server checks a home RADIUS server of the subscriber, produces a proxy-state attribute and then transmits it to the corresponding home RADIUS server together with the access request message(S4). The home RADIUS server receives the access request message and then discriminates a manufacturing company of the RADIUS client. The home RADIUS server transmits an inherent attribute of the manufacturing company together with the access recognition message to the regional RADIUS server(S6). The regional RADIUS server receives the access recognition message and then transmits it to the RADIUS server of the subscriber(S11). Thereafter, according to the authorization information of the subscriber, a service is provided(S12).
