PURPOSE: A flat panel sound radiator with a supported exciter and a compliant surround is provided to be capable of reproducing high quality sound, improving frequency response, and increasing the size of the radiator. CONSTITUTION: A flat panel sound radiator system(11) with a supported exciter and a compliant surround comprises a frame(12), a flat panel radiator(13) loaded at the inner portion of the frame, and a voice coil installed at the backside of the flat panel radiator. The flat panel sound radiator system further includes a support structure fixed to the frame and a magnet structure loaded at the support structure. At this time, the magnet structure has a voice coil gap. At the time, the voice coil is prolonged into the voice coil gap for supplying vibration to the flat panel radiator.
