SYSTEM FOR REMOTELY MONITORING AND CONTROLLING STREETLIGHTS BY POWER LINE COMMUNICATION SCHEME, LOCAL AREA WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SCHEME, AND LONG-DISTANCE COMMUNICATION SCHEME

PURPOSE: A system for remotely monitoring and controlling streetlights by a power line communication scheme, a local area wireless communication scheme, and a long-distance communication scheme is provided to remotely control and monitor a plurality of streetlight instruments in one field controller by the power line communication scheme and the local area wireless communication scheme. CONSTITUTION: A long-distance communication scheme such as a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network), a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access), and the Internet is used between a central controller(100) and a field controller(200). A power line communication scheme and a local area wireless communication scheme are used between the field controller(200) and each streetlight control board(300). The field controller(200) receives a certain control signal transmitted from the central controller(100), and transmits the control signal to each streetlight instrument(600) through each streetlight control board(300). States and failure information of each streetlight instrument(600) and a power circuit are transmitted to the central controller(100) through each streetlight control board(300) and the field controller(200).
