Synthetic Method of Polyaniline and application for electroststic discharge and EMI Shielding

PURPOSE: A method for preparing polyaniline, and an antistatic material and an electromagnetic wave screening material containing the polyaniline are provided, to reduce the reaction time and to enable the polyaniline to be obtained in free or dissolved state for the more various application. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of dissolving an aniline monomer and a dopant in the molar ratio of 0.8-2.0 to the aniline monomer, into an organic solvent; dissolving an oxidizing agent in the molar ratio of 0.4-2.0 to the aniline monomer, into water; reacting the organic solvent solution and the aqueous solution at a temperature of 0-10 deg.C; and separating the polyaniline-dissolved solution, and washing it with 2-5 times volume of a washing solvent. Preferably the aniline monomer is an aniline substituted with a methoxy group, an ethoxy group or a nitro group; the dopant is camphor sulfonic acid, dodecyl sulfonic acid or dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid; the organic solvent is toluene, xylene, chloroform, ethyl acetate, methyl acetate, ethoxy methanol or butoxy ethanol; the oxidizing agent is ammonium persulfate; and the washing solvent is ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, water, acetone or their mixtures.
