A METHOD FOR USING PRIVATE PROBE OF THE MELTING IRON-REFINING IN LADLE

PURPOSE: A method for using private probes for refining molten steel in ladle is provided to reduce manufacturing cost of molten steel by selectively using the private probes when sampling operation of molten steel and molten steel temperature measuring operation according to operation circumstances. CONSTITUTION: In a method for using private probes mounted on a holder (12) of a lance (11) to measure temperature of molten steel contained in a ladle (1) and collecting sample of the molten steel, the method comprises the steps of measuring temperature of molten steel by dipping a temperature measuring probe comprising an insert hole formed on the probe body so that the holder (12) of the lance (11) is inserted into the insert hole, a plug (20b) installed at the lower part of the insert hole and connected to terminal of the holder (12), and a thermocouple connected to the plug by means of electric wire and exposed to the outer circumferential surface of the probe body into molten steel contained in the ladle (1) so as to measure temperature of molten steel; and sampling molten steel by dipping a sampling probe (19) comprising an insert hole formed on the probe body (19e) so that the holder (12) of the lance (11) is inserted into the insert hole, and a mold formed on the lower part of the probe body (19e) so that molten steel is flown into the mold into molten steel contained in the ladle (1) so as to collect sample of molten steel.
