METHOD OF MAKING EXTRACT CONTAINING 85W/W OR MORE OF ANTHOCYANOSIDE OLIGOMERS, AND COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An extract containing 85w/w% or more of anthocyanoside oligomers is provided with an excellent stability and an improving effect on the eyesight. Also, provided is a composition containing the same. CONSTITUTION: A composition of a preparation for ophthalmology contains 0.01-95.00 wt.% of an extract containing 85w/w% or more of anthocyanoside oligomers, and one or more kinds of pharmaceutical excipients. The extract is obtained by making an anthocyanosides-containing solution from the grape skins and a mixture of ethanol and water. The solution is then filtered, and concentrated. An anthocyanoside monomer extract is made from the concentrated solution. The anthocyanoside monomer extract then undergoes the processes of fermentation, ultrafiltration, and lyophilization.
