APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING WINTER BURSTING UTILIZING STEAM CONDENSATE

PURPOSE: A freeze protection device using steam condensation is provided to reduce repairing cost generated in replacing a steam trap not using an existing steam trap by discharging only condensed water. CONSTITUTION: A freeze protection device using steam condensation is composed of a T-shaped body(1) connected to an end of a heating coil to prevent the freeze of equipment by storing high-temperature condensed water to the upside of the heating coil and to automatically discharge condensed water excessively generated, a regulating rod(2) and a condensed water opening and shutting rod(3) adjusting the height of condensed water, a buffle(4) worked upward and downward by condensed water, and a nipple(5) and sealing units(6,7,8) for sealing in an opening and shutting. The buffle rises and works the condensed water opening and shutting rod when condensed water fills up the heating coil, passes through a condensed water-passing hole, and goes up to the buffle. Therefore, the freeze protection device seals a condensed water discharge port and constantly keeps the level of condensed water at the same time as discharges condensed water when clearance is generated between the conical shape part of the condensed water opening and shutting contacted to the nipple and the inside of the nipple.
