- Address-While-Display driving method of driving plasma display panel for broadening margin of address voltage

PURPOSE: A method for driving address-while-display of a plasma display panel for widening margin of an address voltage is provided to elevate relatively a maximum level of an address voltage by lowering relatively a voltage applied to XY electrode line couples at an addressing period. CONSTITUTION: A front substrate and a rear substrate cross each other. A plurality of XY electrode line couples are formed by arraying alternately X and Y electrode lines between the front substrate and the rear substrate. A plurality of address electrode lines are perpendicular to X and Y display electrode lines. The display voltage is alternately applied to the XY electrode line couples. The display voltage is lowered at an addressing period for address line couple for each display electrode line couple. The voltages of the first polarity and the second polarity are alternately applied to the XY electrode line couples. The voltage of the second polarity with the first level is applied to the Y electrode lines.
