PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for automatically executing a voice recognition program in a server-based voice recognition system are provided to automatically execute or change the recognition program without an operator's manual operation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically executing a voice recognition program in a server-based voice recognition system includes a voice recognition server(30), and an intelligent network system(31). The voice recognition server allows a registered program to be automatically executed, receives voice data from the intelligent network system to perform a recognition process and transmits the processed result. The intelligent network system has a voice recognition interface(31a) that is connected with the voice recognition server to carry out voice recognition through the automatically executed program.
