Method Of Continuous Dyeing Of PTT Carpet With Super Absorbent Polymer And PTT Carpet Produced By The Same

PURPOSE: A continuous dyeing method of a PTT carpet using a super absorbent resin is capable of dyeing the lower end of pile uniformly and improving color yield. CONSTITUTION: The continuous dyeing method of the PTT carpet comprises the steps of: applying 0.1-10wt.% of the super absorbent resin added with a thickener on a raw carpet; drying the carpet with a dryer(2); applying water dyeing solution containing at least one of dispersion dyes on the carpet; steaming in a steamer(4) having 98-135deg.C of inside temperature for 5-10min; and then washing and drying. The super absorbent resin has 50-1000CPS of viscosity. The water dyeing solution has less than 500CPS of viscosity.
