6 Session Control Method in Real-Time Virtual Conference System using IPv6 Multicast

PURPOSE: A method for controlling sessions for an Internet protocol version six multi-cast real-time virtual scientific council system is provided to efficiently monitor and manage session entrance and exit of many users. CONSTITUTION: A user connects to a virtual scientific council system for selecting wanted institutes and entering sessions, inputs personal data to a user database, and receives an ID(601,602). The user inquires information of all sessions from a web database server online(603). The user selects the session for reading council proceeding information of the corresponding session(604). The user obtains information of the corresponding session and goes through an authentication process(605). The user informs a database server that the user joins the council, and a client application is executed to connect to a control server tool of a session control server, so that the user enters the session. The user requests, receives, and returns the right to speak through the control server tool from the chairman. The user terminates the client application, informs the database server of the termination, and goes out of the session(608).
