DETECTION METHOD OF IRIS ROTATION DATA FOR IRIS RECOGNITION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for detecting iris rotation information of an iris recognition system is provided to reduce a comparison time of an iris code when recognizing an iris executed by correcting and registering a gradient of an iris image. CONSTITUTION: An eye image of a user is obtained by a camera for registering iris image in an iris recognition system(S301). A gradient of an iris is detected from the obtained eye image(S302). The eye image is rotated as the detected gradient of the iris, and the gradient of the iris is corrected(S303). An iris code of the gradient-correct iris is created(S304). The created iris code is registered in an iris algorithm(S305).
