PURPOSE: An alsica (Al2O3-SiC-C)-based refractory brick composition for a charging ladle is provided, to obtain expansibility with deterioration of the corrosion resistance and to improve the lifetime of a refractory material by preventing the separation of refractory bricks due to the repeated processes. CONSTITUTION: The alsica-based refractory brick composition comprises 70-78 wt% of a alumina (Al2O3) clinker; 8-12 wt% of silicon carbide (SiC); 10-15 wt% of crystalline carbon (C); 3.0-6.0 wt% of kyanite (Al2O3SiO2) which is an expandable material; and additional components comprising 1-3 wt% of borosilicic acid frit and 2-3 wt% of metal silicon powder as an antioxidizing agent.
