PURPOSE: A method for preventing clogging of submerged entry nozzle in continuous casting more effectively and easily in manufacturing molten steel containing aluminum and sulfur is provided. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing steel containing 0.3 to 0.6 wt.% of C, 0.01 to 0.04 wt.% of Al and 0.02 to 0.04 wt.% of S, the method is characterized in that a composition for molten steel is composed in such a way that a ratio of calcium (Ca) to aluminum (Al) (Ca/Al) in molten steel is 0.06 or more, or a ratio of calcium (Ca) to sulfur (S) (Ca/S) in molten steel is 0.08 or more.
