Method of reduction of strip vibration to reduce coating badness

PURPOSE: A strip vibration reducing method for reducing plating defects is provided to produce plating strip of high quality by varying position of touch roll for reducing vibration, thereby preventing vibration occurred in various modes. CONSTITUTION: In a method for reducing vibration of strip generated in plating line, the strip vibration reducing method for reducing plating defects comprises first step of detecting vibration of the strip in a certain periodic time; second step of converting the vibration of strip detected in a certain periodic time into numerical value; third step of obtaining subtraction results by subtracting the already stored previous numerical value from the converted current numerical value; fourth step of obtaining results by multiplying the subtraction results by a gain value, and setting the changed sign as a control value by oppositely changing the sign if sign of the obtained results is the same as the sign of the previous results; and fifth step of moving the strip in a proceeding direction or oppositely to the proceeding direction of the strip according to the control value.
