TEXTILE FINISHING AGENT COMPRISED OF CHITOSAN AND SILVER PARTICLE OF NANO-SIZE

PURPOSE: A textile finishing agent contains chitosan and silver particle of nano-size. The textile finishing agent is capable of increasing washability, having antibiosis and deodorization, radiating far infrared ray and interrupting ultraviolet light. CONSTITUTION: The textile finishing agent is obtained by the steps of: putting chitosan oligomer into distilled water, followed by melting a mixture with acetic acid to manufacture a chitosan solution; adding distilled water to the solution to make the solution having 20 wt.% of the chitosan oligomer; stirring the chitosan solution and adding silver sol having below 10nm of particle size to manufacture a solution having 300ppm of silver; and then stirring the solution, followed by sealing the solution.
