METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PREVENTING PASSWORD-STEALING IN TOUCH SCREEN TYPE AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINE

PURPOSE: A method for preventing a password-stealing in a touch screen type automatic teller machine and a device thereof are provided to prevent a password-stealing by other persons by automatically locating a polarizer at an upper surface of a password window so that another person can not sees password. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel(T) is provided at a monitor(2). A polarizer(110) is movably installed at a slot(S) of the monitor(2) by an actuator(120). A rack(R) is formed at a side surface of the polarizer(110). A pinion(P) is installed at the actuator(120) to engage with the rack(R). When a password window is displayed on a display window, the reflection plate(110) is located at an upper surface of the password window. When the polarizer(110) is located at the upper surface of the password window, a special location lamp or a sound guide is located at one side of a body(B) in order to exactly locate eyes of a right user.
