Long distance transmission apparatus for partial discharge signal of underground power cable

PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting remotely partial discharge signals of underground power cables is provided to grasp a fine state of the underground power cables by measuring simultaneously partial discharge signals of the underground power cables. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transmitting remotely a partial discharge signal of an underground power cable includes a pre-amplifier(2), a transmission signal converter(3), an optical band converter(4), an electric signal converter(6), and a signal measurement unit(7). The pre-amplifier(2) is used for amplifying a partial discharge signal received from a partial discharge measuring sensor(1) formed on an underground power cable(11). The transmission signal converter is used for converting the amplified signal to a signal of a transmission frequency band. The electric signal converter is used for converting an optical signal of the optical band converter to an electric signal. The signal measurement unit measures the partial discharge by processing the electric signal of the electric signal converter.
