Knowledge Resource Management System Capable of being Transmitted and Installed in a Server through the Internet and Storage Medium Including the Install Program

PURPOSE: A system for managing knowledge resources capable of being transmitted and installed to a server on the Internet by a program recorded in portable storage media is provided to automatically install data and programs based on a database in order to operate a knowledge resources managing system. CONSTITUTION: A setting unit(10) executes installation to a server connected to the Internet in an input system through an install program recorded in a portable storing medium and transmits a file automatically. A managing unit(20) stores the transmitted file, installs data and programs based on a database(25), and enables many users to operate the installed database through the Internet. The database(25) stores the data as a module, search, and convert the data. A program execution unit(11) opens an FTP account for connecting to an installation objected server using an FTP protocol in a PC or a server system, receives database information, and copies a file of the knowledge resources managing system to be installed in the server system. An FTP execution unit(12) transmits data inputted in the program execution unit(11) and the copied file to the server system using the FTP protocol.
