METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING WIRELESS HOME INFORMATION APPLIANCES CONTROL SYSTEM BASED ON PDA

PURPOSE: A method for constructing a wireless home information appliances control system based on a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) is provided to remotely control the Internet home information appliances by using a wireless LAN(Local Area Network) card or a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) modem installed to the PDA by connecting the home information appliances with a home networking middleware. CONSTITUTION: A remote home control application software is driven by the PDA(S1). The user certification is performed by an ID and a password through an encryption algorithm(S2). If the PDA transmits the control data to the home information appliances through the wireless LAN or a CDMA network, the appliances receiving the control data store the control state information in an HIMS(Home Information Management System) server after executing the control of power, operation, and function(S5). The appliances transmit the control result data to the remote home control application software(S6). The remote home control result is displayed on the PDA(S7).
