PURPOSE: An electrostatic pressure transcription type wet color image forming device and a method for forming an image by using the same are provided to expand lift span of a transfer belt by improving transcription efficiency of a color image. CONSTITUTION: A wet color image forming device includes a plurality of photosensitive members(100,102,104,106) formed with an electrostatic latent image corresponding to image information inputted from an exterior. Developing units(120,122,124,126) are provided to reveal the electrostatic latent image. The image is formed on a transfer belt(130). A paper transcription roller(136) is provided to print the image formed on the transfer belt(130) onto a paper. A multi-purpose roller(134) is provided to drive the transfer belt(130) and to support the paper transcription roller(136) when the image is printed onto the paper. The transfer belt(130) includes a surface layer, a first cushion layer and a second cushion layer having hardness lower than the first cushion layer.
