Thermal energy storage system miniaturizing capacity of heater of heat-saving electic boiler

PURPOSE: A switching heat storage device for reducing the capacity of a heater for a heat storage type electric boiler is provided to store sufficient heat by automatically controlling and switching heating and heat storing. CONSTITUTION: A heating unit is mounted on a heater(3'), and heats heat storage materials. A circulation pump(8) is mounted on one side of a circulation pipe(4). Three-way switching valves(5,5') are mounted on both sides of the circulation pipe. The heating unit includes a body(11), a plurality of holes, a cover(13) covering the holes, and protrusions preventing the cover from being separated. Branch pipes(6,6') and connection pipes(7,7') are coupled with the three-way switching valves, and are communicated with a heat storage material tank(2). The connection pipes connect the three-way switching valves to the body in the heating unit.
